Conservatives tell Frist to Forget Flag Burning and Push Judges

Over 60 conservative leaders are calling on Majority Leader Bill Frist to return his attention to judges, which they've dubbed his "signature issue." They claim that in surveys with conservatives, the judges issue outranks the newest proposed constitutional amendment that Frist has slated to debate on the floor - this one banning flag burning. Never one to shy away from threats, right-wing activist Manny Miranda told the National Journal that while Frist "began with a bang" if he "ends on a whimper," well, "that could hurt him" in his bid for the White House in 2008.
