Third Circuit Nominee “Cool as a Cucumber” at Judiciary Committee Hearing

So said Senator Tom Carper (D-DE) in today’s coverage in The News Journal (Wilmington) of the hearing on the nomination of Judge Kent A. Jordan to the Third Circuit. Judge Jordan has been a federal district court judge in the District of Delaware since 2002. Senator Carper, who was among several politicians, including fellow Delawarean Senator Joe Biden (D-DE), to praise Judge Jordan, said he thought confirmation by the Senate was "a slam-dunk.”
