Restrictive voting laws may have a “far less significant” impact on this election than previously thought, according to an encouraging article in today’s New York Times. “Every voter restriction that has been challenged this year has been either enjoined, blocked or weakened,” the Brennan Center’s Lawrence Norden said. [Tuesday’s] decision blocking the key component of Pennsylvania’s voter ID law is just the latest in what Norden calls a “string of victories” for voting rights advocates.
