The Senate confirmed Elena Kagan to the Supreme Court this afternoon, by a vote of 63-37. The Senate must now take action on the 21 judicial nominees who have been voted out of Committee and are now awaiting an up-or-down vote on the Senate floor – in some cases for months on end.
