A Clarion Call

Michael Wallace's nomination to the Fifth Circuit has been sent back to the president, but the controversy is still alive. That's certainly the case over at the Mississippi Clarion Ledger, where, if the president is brazen enough to renominate Wallace, one journalist's perspective is worth keeping in mind: While the Wallace nomination may be no more than simple "GOP ... gloating," a Wallace confirmation would undermine the credibility of the judiciary and "sting for generations."
